Fave cruelty free & vegan shower products

It’s been a long journey, but I’ve finally discovered the perfect shower products.

For me, the products that have worked best aren’t the most expensive or the salon ones, but the affordable and more natural ones. Cheap, effective and natural. Not to mention, cruelty free and vegan. What’s not to love?

For my hair, I use Lush’s Jason and the Argan Oil shampoo bar. If you want your hair to smell absolutely fab then you have to try this out. Not only, will your hair smell great, but it’ll feel and look great too. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling extra soft and gives it a stunning shine. Another thing that I love about Lush’s shampoo bars is that they don’t come in any packaging, so there’s zero waste!

My favourite soap has got to be Dr Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap. This is another product with fantastic fragrances. (I have it in both the citrus and rose scents.) Also, with only a few drops, you get a heavenly lather. I like to use this on my whole body, especially my face to keep it smooth and spot free. Moreover, Dr Bronner’s is made with organic and fair trade ingredients and their packaging is 100% post-consumer recycled bottle. So, it’s another eco-friendly product! On top of that, Dr Bronner’s soap is incredibly versatile. Some of it’s many uses include: shampoo, washing your food and cleaning dishes. This is the perfect product for someone living a more minimal lifestyle since they can replace many cleaning solutions for just one.

The last product I want to share with you is the one and only coconut oil. Coconut oil is a complete game changer if you have dull or lifeless hair. Deep conditioning my hair with coconut oil leaves it luxuriously soft, shiny and voluminous. In the evening, I massage the oil into my hair, then brush through my hair with a comb. I leave it in overnight with my hair wrapped up in an old top. Then, in the morning, I wash it out with my Lush shampoo bar. I do this process about once a week for strong, healthy hair. Similarly to Dr Bronner’s soap, coconut oil is equally versatile. Other ways I like to use coconut oil include: oil pulling, as a moisturiser and cooking. Coconut oil is another fantastic product for a minimalist who wants to have one product for many purposes.

All of these products last for months so are a great value for money. If you try any of these products, I’m sure that you’ll love them just as much as I do!
